We were incredibly honoured to win Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce’s Excellence in Business Diversification award at last night’s fantastic inspiring Hertfordshire ceremony at Warner Bros Leavesden Studios, where we met some really impressive businesses.
A big thank you to the Chamber and JPA Workspaces for sponsoring the prize, and for their inspiring ethos and company values. Congratulations to all of the winners too.
We have been on a path to diversification for some time, driven by a combination of curiosity and necessity (not to mention the tenacity of our team, especially director Jessica, whose slightly crazy idea it was to open Home Farm Glamping in 2015).
It has been a lot of fun and a lot of learning, and there is an awful lot still to do - especially on the regeneration front - but this recognition gives us real confidence that we are on the right track.
